Basic Security Training is a pre-requisite for security licensing, and is required to work as a Security Guard in British Columbia. Bulls Security is currently looking for experienced customer service oriented staff and security guards to work in our security team.
Ideal candidate profile and experience - those with a Valid Security License.
BST (Basic Security Training) prepares individuals for work as security guards in a variety of environments. Ranging from doormen at clubs, to security control Centre operators in shopping centers. Topics covered include: the role of private security, professionalism and ethics, legal responsibilities and authority, report writing, emergency services and response, and personal safety.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills to provide good customer service.
Problem Sensitivity -- The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
Candidate applying for mobile patrol security guards must have a valid driver license and a clean driver’s abstract.
